new age

I´m ignoring the economy, as strongly as I can, I´m avoiding it completely.
Neighborhood bar last night, and another inebriated post. This, I can only suppose, is the result of my lack of a cell phone and ability to drunk text. I can´t tell if it´s worse, or better, to use the computer, but at least this has spell check and the post didn´t have the blaring obvious signs that it was written after a few beers and a margarita.
I´m annoyed with the people of San José right now, which I knew would happen eventually. Crossing the street yesterday, at a curve, the car that was approaching from the further lane swung inward towards me and missed me by a foot. I was only halfway across the first lane of traffic. I can´t tell if they just do it out of habit, or if it´s just fun, but it´s annoying given the already disorder of the streets. I think my annoyance was enhanced by Gina´s incident, which we tried to make her forget last night, to the best of our ability.
Todo sobre mi madre in Spanish class today. I´m stoked.
Museum and gift shopping in San José tomorrow. I have spent too much on myself so far, and I need to make sure that I get the gifts before the numbers dwindle too far. Also, I can feel better about buying another pair of jeans if I do so first. I didn´t think I´d ever like skinny jeans so much, but I maintain that the only reason is because they must design them differently for Latin America, which is a welcome change.
Dancing tonight with some of the trainers from the gym. Ha, gringas stick out so, it was literally our second day at the gym. Should be alright, though a couple girls went to Castros (the bar of choice for this evening) before and said that it was full of older men. This is dangerous as I think my perfume or something draws them, which is completely gross and disturbing.
Down to 7 weeks.
